If you find yourself in need to send actual emails to your guests, our Mailchimp integration allows to do just that.
Once completed, it will allow Hospitable to add your guest's email to a mailing-list; from there allow you to sending emails as "marketing campaigns", which in practice can be designed around your check-in and check-out dates. You can learn how to integrate Mailchimp here.
Once the integration is setup, here is what will need to happen:
In an automated message from Hospitable, like a booking confirmation, or a manual message, you will need to ask for the guest's real email address.
The guest replies and provides their email address.
We extract this email address from the thread, and subscribe them to your Mailchimp mailing list.
If a guest responds with more than one email, we will send all of the email addresses to Mailchimp.
Once that email is added to your Mailchimp list:
You can create automated marketing campaigns based on a date such as a check-in date.
You will also be able to "segment" guests based on their listings or languages.
