The Hospitable.com and Wheelhouse integration allows you to use Wheelhouse's Dynamic Pricing product on all properties you have on Hospitable.com which can include VRBO, Airbnb, and Booking.com listings.
To integrate Wheelhouse with your Hospitable.com account, you will need to follow the below steps.
On Airbnb: Disable Smart Pricing
You will need to disable Smart Pricing on your Airbnb listings.
If Smart Pricing is enabled, Wheelhouse will not be able to make successful changes to your Airbnb prices, as Airbnb will override them.
On Hospitable.com: Merge your listings together
Back on Hospitable.com, we strongly recommend that you start by ensuring that you are merging your Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com listings of the same property together. This may already be the case, but if you have not done so, you should follow the instructions in this article to help you merge your properties together.
On Hospitable.com: Set your markup rates
We recommend that you set up your markup rates for each listing or platform. This markup will be added to the price generated by Wheelhouse, when we push their rates to your listings. The markup will depend on your channel distribution strategy.
For example, if you define a markup of 10% for Airbnb, and 15% for VRBO, and Wheelhouse pushes a price of $100 to Hospitable, Hospitable will push a price of $110 for Airbnb, and $115 for VRBO.
You can also add listing-specific markup rates, if you would like individual markups per listing.
To create your markup rates:
Click on Settings, and click on Preferences
Click on Properties
You can then enter your markup rate for each platform.
Note: The markup rate can be a negative, positive value or zero.
On Hospitable.com: Generate your API key
API keys are credentials that will allow Wheelhouse to write to your calendar through Hospitable.com
Go to the Hospitable Apps page.
Scroll down to Tools and click on API keys.
Toggle over to API keys (legacy)
Click the + Add new button. This will generate your unique API key, with a Client ID and a Client secret.
Make sure to select permissions to ✅ Read calendar, and ✅ Write calendar
Name the API key “Wheelhouse" (this is optional, but highly recommended so you can recognize it later)
On Wheelhouse: Set up the connection!
If you already have your Airbnb/Vrbo/Booking.com account connected to Wheelhouse, we recommend removing this connection so that the prices are updated only through Hospitable.
Firstly, if you do not have a Wheelhouse account yet, you will need to set one up, you can sign up here.
Next, once you are logged in, click your name in the upper right and select 'Add Channel'
Choose 'Hospitable'
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret from your Hospitable API key
Select 'Connect your Hospitable Account'
Wheelhouse will import your Hospitable properties as Wheelhouse listings. You'll then need to set up Auto Pricing from within Wheelhouse to begin sending pricing to Hospitable.
From your Wheelhouse Dashboard, select the Wheelhouse Listing (Hospitable property) that you'd like to set up Auto Pricing for.
In the left sidebar, choose 'Get Started' in the 'Set up your pricing' panel.
Complete the steps, then choose 'Sync & Automate.' Wheelhouse configured pricing will be live on Hospitable within 5 minutes.
Wheelhouse will now set pricing based on your configurations, and Hospitable will push that pricing plus any configured markups to your connected channels.
