2. Redeeming Your Hospitable Rewards Points

How to use your points in the Rewards store

Written by Petra Podobnik

Once you've collected points in Hospitable Rewards, you can spend them in the Rewards store. Primary account holders can redeem points for Hospitable swag or cashback applied to their Hospitable invoice. Secondary users can redeem points for swag.

How to redeem

  • Go to Community > Rewards

  • Open the Redeem section

  • Choose one of the redemption options available to you and confirm

Swag

The Rewards store carries branded Hospitable merch: apparel, accessories, and limited-edition items. When you redeem swag, you'll confirm your shipping address at checkout. Hospitable covers the cost of shipping.

A few things to know before redeeming swag:

  • We ship to most countries, but not all. If yours isn't supported, primary account holders can choose cashback instead. Secondary users should contact us for help.

  • Some countries require the recipient to provide ID or a tax number for customs. If that applies to your order, the carrier will contact you directly.

  • Deliveries to parts of the Middle East and South Asia may take longer than usual.

  • Any customs duties or import taxes are your responsibility.

  • If an item runs out, we may send an item of equal or greater value instead.

  • If an order is confirmed lost or damaged in transit, we'll look into it and do our best to replace it.

There is no cap on how often or how much swag you can redeem: as long as you have the points, you can spend them.

Cashback

You can also redeem points for Hospitable cashback. The cashback is applied to your next Hospitable invoice and shows up on your billing page.

You can redeem cashback once per calendar month, for a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $100 per redemption. Cashback is applied in the currency of your Hospitable subscription, at the rate shown on Rewards. Buildathon winner awards are separate rewards and do not count toward this cap.

Cashback is available only to the primary account holder (the person who owns the subscription), because it is applied to the Hospitable invoice. Secondary users can redeem their points for swag.

Cashback can only be used toward future subscription fees. It can't be refunded or paid out, and any unused cashback lapses if your subscription ends.

Points balance limit

You can hold up to 30,000 points at a time. While you're at the limit, new activity doesn't collect points, so redeem regularly to keep collecting.

What happens after you redeem

  • Points are deducted from your balance immediately.

  • The redemption is recorded in your points ledger.

  • Balances can never go negative.

Redemptions can't be reversed once confirmed, so double-check your selection (and shipping address, for swag) before confirming.
