How is the check-in and check-out time being defined?
How is the check-in and check-out time being defined?

If you manually changed the check-in or the check-out time of a guest for a reservation, this is what the short code will display.

In this industry, everyone wants to check-in early and check-out late! And we are there to help you communicate the check-in and check-out time while remaining flexible, when you can be.`

  • The reservation will be assigned to the listing check-in or check-out time.

  • If you don't have a check-in or check-out time window configured on your listing, we will apply a default check-in time of 15:00, and a default check-out time of 11:00.

You may change the check-in or check-out time in relation with a particular guest and set a different check-in or check-out time without affecting your listing's defaults.

To do so:

  1. Go to the Inbox

  2. Open the conversation

  3. From Web: on the left panel showing your listing's picture, click the check-in and check-out time, opening the time selectors.

  4. Click away of the time selector to save.

We will use those times for Guest experience and Operations. In particular:

  • We will use the check-in and check-out times as basis for scheduled messages.

  • The short codes %check_in_hour% and %check_out_hour% will display those check-in and check-out times.
