How often an iCal feed updates is dependent on the calendar service where you imported it (e.g. Apple Calendar, Google Calendar). Ýou may see delays between Hospitable and the iCal feed.

Apple Calendar updates every 1-3 hours by default. You can change this setting on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Tap Calendar.

  3. Tap Accounts.

  4. Select Fetch New Data.

  5. Find your iCal feed on your list of calendars. Tap it and set it to Fetch.

  6. At the bottom of the page, set your Fetch time to your desired frequency.

  7. Your settings will be automatically saved.

Google Calendar, on the other hand, refreshes every 24 hours. This cannot be changed by the user, but you can manually refresh your calendar feed in the app on your device.

  1. Open the Calendar app.

  2. Tap the Menu button (3 lines icon).

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Sync now.

For other calendar providers, you can refer to their app's documentation to learn how to force a refresh on the feed. Click here to learn how to add an iCal feed to your calendar.
