How to integrate with RemoteLock

The RemoteLock integration supported by Hospitable is no longer available. Hosts who already have RemoteLock configured can continue using the integration. RemoteLock is in the process of building an integration to Hospitable, at which point RemoteLock customers will transition to that new integration.

Hospitable can integrate with your RemoteLock account to automatically send access pin codes to guests.

About the Integration

This integration will sync with your RemoteLock account to create access pin codes in the guest profile and create or revoke access pin code access to your guests. Additionally, you can schedule automated messages to automatically send access pin codes to your guest.

Connecting your RemoteLock account

  • Navigate to Hospitable > Apps

  • Scroll down and click on RemoteLock under the Integrations section

  • Click "Connect with RemoteLock"

  • Follow the prompts to connect your account successfully

  • (Optional) Match supported locks to existing Hospitable properties

Match locks to properties

  • After connecting Hospitable to RemoteLock, open the “Unmatched Locks” tab

  • Click the “Edit” button to change the configuration for a particular lock

  • Select properties that you’d like to match to your device

  • (Optional) Change the PIN code length

  • Click “Save”

Review smart lock settings

Hospitable will automatically start generating PIN codes based on your smart lock settings. You can review and change the following settings at any time. Note: Any changes you make to your smart lock settings will only affect future reservations

  • PIN codes generation helps you configure the logic Hospitable will use to generate PIN codes for your guests

  • Check-in time buffer helps you configure how much time you’d like to give to your guests to be able to check-in with the generated PIN codes

  • Check-out time buffer helps you configure how much time you’d like to give to your guests to be able to use with the generated PIN codes

Sending PIN codes to guests

Before Hospitable can automatically send the generated PIN codes to guests, you'll need to add the %smartlock_code% short code to scheduled messages or new reservation messages in the Guest experience.
