How to integrate Minut Noise Monitor

Integrate Minut with Hospitable to automatically sync booking information and notify guests when noise levels are above the set threshold.

Integrate Minut with Hospitable to sync booking information to Minut and allow them to automatically notify guests via an SMS or Autocall when noise levels are high.

Prerequisites

  1. An active Minut Pro account with a Home or Homes setup

  2. Minut sensors installed in your physical property

Connect Minut to Hospitable

From Hospitable:

  1. Go to Apps.

  2. Click on API keys.

  3. Toggle over to API keys (legacy)

  4. Click on the + Add new button. This will generate API keys, with a Client ID and a Client secret.

  5. Make sure to select permissions to βœ… Read calendar

  6. Name the API key 'Minut' so you can easily reference which key has been shared.

From Minut:

  • Log in to your Minut account, and navigate to the Hospitable integration page (Integrations > Hospitable)

  • Click 'Connect'

    • Insert the 'Client ID' and 'Client secret' from your Hospitable API key and select 'Connect'.

    • Link your Minut homes with the corresponding Hospitable properties.

  • From the Minut mobile or web-app.

    • Turn on noise monitoring.

    • Enable SMS or Autocall to guests from within the noise monitoring settings.

πŸ₯³ Done! Once you have enabled noise monitoring in Minut, any active guests for which high noise levels are detected will be notified.
