Here are some questions that we see regularly. We don't want you to wait longer than you have to for an answer, so see if your question is answered here before contacting us!

For smart locks-related issues, please take a look at our dedicated FAQs article.

Can I get financial information from your API?

Unfortunately not. We have two APIs that you can integrate with; Properties and Calendar. Neither of these includes any financial information.

Can I use the Charge Automation integration to take bookings for Direct Basic?

With this integration active, we send reservation details to Charge Automation which they use to create a link to your guest portal. No other features offered by Charge Automation are currently applicable to Hospitable.

Stripe is the only payment processor currently supported by Direct Basic. We don't currently support any other payment method.

How often does my dynamic pricing tool sync with Hospitable?

Each tool has different specific timings, but they all sync with Hospitable once per day. We will sync pricing updates during the next scheduled sync action (every 4.5 hours).

Why am I being charged for my Turno subscription?

Turno themselves should be updating your subscription once you have successfully integrated their service with Hospitable. Please check that you have set up the integration correctly by following the steps in this guide.

If you are sure the setup is right, we would recommend contacting Turno directly. As they are administering the subscription charges, we are limited in the help we can provide.

Where can I generate or find my legacy Client ID and Client Secret (API keys)?

To generate legacy API keys for your accounts:

  1. Click on the Apps menu icon.

  2. Click on API Keys.

  3. Toggle over to API keys (legacy)

  4. Click the + Add New button in the upper right-hand corner to create a new API Key.

  5. You can click on the title to change the name (optional but recommended).

Each integration will require its own set of API keys, as well as the correct permissions. Please take a look at this article for more details.
