There might come a time when you want to disconnect your Booking.com property or listing, such as if you no longer manage the properties on that account. Here is how!
How To Disconnect Booking.com From Hospitable
Booking.com integrates with Hospitable through a listing-level connection, not on an account-level as with Airbnb and VRBO. Therefore, you would need to delete Hospitable as the channel manager for an individual listing in order to remove the connection.
Here's how to do this:
Login to the Booking.com Extranet
Click on Account on the top-right of the page
Select Connectivity Providers
Click Disconnect
If you cannot access your Booking.com Extranet, visit admin.booking.com, enter your email, and click "Forgotten your password?" Follow the instructions sent to your email to reset your password.
If you continue to see your Booking.com account listed on the Connected Accounts page after all listings are disconnected (i.e. it will show '0 listings' beside the account), you may contact our support team to have it removed.
How Do I Mute My Property on Booking.com
While your listing is connected to Hospitable, we will be considered the channel manager for that listing. However, muting a property is not recommended as it disables calendar control and can cause synchronization issues. Instead, consider disconnecting or unpublishing the listing. Here’s how you can manage that:
Disconnect your listing from Hospitable as described above.
If you wish to temporarily make the property unavailable, use the "Snooze" or "Unpublish" options directly in the Booking.com Extranet. Alternatively, you can manage availability from the Extranet interface.
Mute the property on Hospitable. You can read more about how to mute a property here.
Note: If your Booking.com listing is merged with other listings (Airbnb and/or VRBO) on a property, you will first need to remove the Booking.com listing from that property. Here is how to do that:
Go to Hospitable > Properties > Click on the property
Click the three dots on the Booking.com listing, on the right-hand side
Select ‘Remove from property’
Go back to Hospitable > Properties
Find the new Booking.com property there and select it
Click ‘Mute property’
Can I Unpublish My Booking.com Listing Through Hospitable?
Yes! You can unpublish or publish any connected Booking.com listing directly from within the property on Hospitable.
To do this:
Go to Hospitable > Properties
Select the property containing the Booking.com listing
Click the box that says "Listed" or "Unlisted"
From the drop-down, select either "Publish listing" or "Unpublish listing"
Read more about how to do that here.
