Overview
To ensure your guests complete your required registration tasks, such as signing rental agreements or completing guest verification, Hospitable will automatically send reminders to guests that have not completed the tasks on your behalf.
Message Content and Timing
You can view and edit your guest portal task reminders under Guest Experience > Guest Portal > Task Reminders
By default, the following messages are enabled:
The first reminder is sent one day after the task is created, if the registration tasks are not complete.
The second reminder is sent two days after the task is created, if the registration tasks are not complete.
You can add or remove reminders and edit the content and timing. Each reminder must contain the %guest_portal_tasks%
short code.
Where the message is sent
If a guest booked through Airbnb, Vrbo or Booking.com, they will receive a notification through the messaging system on those platforms.
For guests who booked via Direct or have a manual booking, they'll receive the message via email.
Note: To be able to send the guest portal link in your messages to Booking.com guests, you must first “whitelist” the guest portal domain (booking.hospitable.com). You can read about how to whitelist links on Booking.com here.
Viewing scheduled reminders
You can view scheduled reminders in the reservation's Activity section within the Inbox. From there, you can edit or cancel a scheduled reminder.
