After publishing, you can choose to use your own domain with your Hospitable site. Load your Hospitable site on your own root domain (example.com), or if you already have a site at your root domain, use any sub-domain you choose (book.example.com). Please note that subfolders/subdirectories are not supported; therefore, you cannot use a structure like example.com/stay or book.example.com/stay.
To get started, open Direct and click on your Hospitable site. Select Domain from the menu. Click the Add your own domain button on the top right and follow the instructions.
When connecting an existing domain you will have two options:
Let Hospitable manage DNS for you (recommended).
Choose this option if:
You want the fastest and easiest setup — we automatically configure all required DNS records.
You want to manage DNS settings directly from Hospitable, including adding custom DNS records (e.g., for email or third-party services).
Note: If you’re currently using your domain for email or other services, Hospitable will attempt to recreate your existing DNS records when you connect your domain but you should still check that all DNS records are configured once your domain is connected to avoid disruptions.
I'll manage my own DNS
Choose this option if:
You’re already using your domain for other services and don’t want to change name servers.
You’re comfortable managing DNS records manually with your domain registrar.
You want full control over your DNS setup.
If Hospitable is Managing Your DNS
If you choose to let Hospitable manage DNS for you, you'll need to update your name servers with your domain provider.
To do this, login to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) and look for DNS settings and the option to choose your name servers.
You'll need to add Hospitable's name servers:
ns1.hsptbl.com
ns2.hsptbl.com
ns3.hsptbl.com
ns4.hsptbl.com
Once you're finished updating your name servers, click "Verify Now" to verify your changes.
If You're Managing DNS Yourself
If you choose to manage your own DNS, you will need to update your domain's DNS records to point at Hospitable's address.
To do this, login to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) and look for DNS settings.
If you are connecting a root domain (ex: miami-beach.homes)
Remove any conflicting records
When connecting to your domain, Hospitable will check for existing DNS records. If conflicting A or AAAA records are found, we will identify those records for you and prompt you to remove them.
Add your root @ record:
Type: A Record
Host: @
Value: 45.55.120.81
TTL: Automatic
We previously recommended adding a CNAME record for your
www
host to point to a Hospitable URL. That isn't necessary. We recommend instead setting yourwww
host to point at your root domain (e.g. yourdomain.com).Note: you should only have one A record for your domain. If you have

Host: your desired subdomain ("book" in the case of book.miami-beach.homes)
Value: cname.hospitable.rentals
TTL: Automatic
