If you already own a domain may connect it to Hospitable under settings to be able to manage it in one place.
Let Hospitable manage DNS for you
When you choose this option you will update your name servers to point to Hospitable’s name servers.
To do this, copy and paste the 4 name server values into your external DNS provider. Once the name server updates have propagated, DNS records will be automatically created to connect the domain to the Direct site.
These DNS records are in a Locked state to avoid accidentally deleting or updating them.
You may add or edit the records as needed to continue to manage your DNS.
I’ll manage my own DNS
This option will require you update your DNS records manually in their DNS provider.
After the domain is entered, we will look up the existing DNS records and display any conflicting records that need to be removed, along with the new DNS records that should be added.
Once the update is completed, click “Verify site” to verify if the domain is connected.
Note: domains that are connected in this way are considered “External” domains. They will show in the Domains list, but DNS records will need to be managed externally.
