If you have a domain managed by Hospitable (purchased through us or transferred to our management), you can easily set it up to redirect visitors to another website.

When to use domain forwarding:

  • You want `yourbrand.com` to send visitors to your main booking site

  • You're consolidating multiple domains to one primary URL

  • You want a memorable short domain that redirects to a longer URL

How to set up forwarding:

  1. Go to your Domains: navigate to Settings β†’ Domains β†’ select your domain

  2. Configure the redirect

    1. Click the Add Record in the DNS Records section

    2. Create a new record with "Type: URL"

    3. Enter the destination URL (e.g., https://yourmainsite.com) in the "value" field.

    4. Save your changes

  3. Wait for propagation
Changes typically take effect within 5-30 minutes. In rare cases, it may take up to 24 hours

What happens after setup:

  • Visitors to yourdomain.com will automatically be sent to your destination URL

  • Search engines will understand this is a permanent move and transfer SEO value

Note: Domain forwarding is only available for domains managed by Hospitable. If your domain is managed by an external registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), you'll need to set up forwarding through their platform.
