After publishing your Hospitable site, you can add a property search feature that allows guests to search availability across all your properties with results displayed on a map.
How Property Search Works
The search feature displays all your properties for every search, sorted by location and availability. When a property isn't available for the search criteria, guests will see why - whether it's due to length of stay requirements, guest count limits, or unavailable dates.
Set Up Your Location List
Hospitable creates a basic location list from your property cities to get you started
Edit the location dropdown by clicking "Add Location"
Enter a display name and double-click the map to place the pin
Create up to three location levels (country > city > neighborhood, or state > city > point of interest) by dragging and dropping.
Optimize Locations for Your Guests
Use your location list as another way to showcase your properties to prospective guests:
Add popular nearby tourist attractions if guests frequently search for them
Include local hospitals if you host many traveling nurses
Consider any landmarks or areas that help guests understand your property locations
Remember: locations sort your properties rather than filter them, so all properties appear in every search.
Manage Search Features
You can disable the map or property search entirely if needed.
Important: Property search isn't recommended for single-property sites as the search widget's availability display may not match your actual property availability, potentially confusing guests.
