Direct Premium Taxes for Colorado

State of Colorado

For bookings made through Direct Premium in the State of Colorado after October 31, 2025, Hospitable remits and files the following taxes:

  • Colorado State Sales Tax: a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. For detailed information related to states sales taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

For bookings made through Direct Premium in the State of Colorado after November 30, 2025, Hospitable remits and files the following taxes:

  • County Lodging Tax: a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. For detailed information related to county lodging taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

  • Local Marketing District Tax: a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. For detailed information related to the local marketing district taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

  • City Sales Tax (collected by Colorado State): a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. The State of Colorado administers the following local city sales taxes: Aspen, Blue River, Cañon City, Cripple Creek, Dillon, Estes Park, Fraser, Fruita, Granby, Green Mountain Falls, Manitou Springs, Palmer Lake, and Trinidad. For detailed information related to local city sales taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

  • County Sales Tax (collected by Colorado State): a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. The State of Colorado administers the following local county sales taxes: Adams, Arapahoe, Archuleta, Boulder, Chaffee, Clear Creek, Custer, Eagle, El Pas, Fremont, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Jefferson, La Plata, Larimer, Las Animas, Mesa, Montrose, Park, Pitkin, Routt, Saguache, San Miguel, Summit, and Teller. For detailed information related to local county sales taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

  • Metropolitan District Tax: a percentage of the listing price including any cleaning fee for reservations 29 nights and shorter. The State of Colorado administers the following metropolitan district tax: Arrowhead and Purgatory Metropolitan Districts. For detailed information related to metropolitan district taxes, please visit the Colorado Department of Revenue.

Any other applicable taxes that are not listed are your responsibility to file and remit to the respective regulatory jurisdiction in accordance with state, city, and/or local laws and regulations. Hospitable will collect and pass through these taxes to you within your payout.
