Lake.com is a vacation rental marketplace focused exclusively on properties located near lakes, connecting hosts with travelers planning lakeside vacations and outdoor activities.
When connected with Hospitable, property listings, pricing, and availability can be synchronized so listings remain updated automatically while hosts continue managing reservations and guest communication in Hospitable.
Because the platform is dedicated specifically to lakeside travel, listings are exposed to an audience searching for waterfront stays and activities such as boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming.
Lake.com also publishes travel guides for well-known lake destinations, helping travelers discover properties based on location and interests. For Hospitable users, the integration provides an additional marketing and distribution channel aimed at guests seeking lake-focused vacations.
Initiate the connection from Lake.com
After verifying your email, you’ll land on a confirmation page: “Congratulations, your account’s been created.” Indicate that you are a Host.
You’ll be asked whether you want to create a listing from scratch or import an existing listing.
Select the option to Import my listings
For existing users:
Click on your profile name/thumbnail on the top-right.
Click on Connections.
Look for Hospitable and then click on Connect.
Click on Connect again on the small pop-up.
You will be redirected to the Hospitable login page. Provide your credentials.
Review the permissions, then click on Authorize Lake.com.
You’ll be redirected back to Lake.com and a confirmation message will appear. Listings from Hospitable will automatically begin syncing to Lake.com.
