Google Vacation Rentals (GVR) lets eligible Direct properties appear on Google Travel.
When guests find your listing on Google, they are directed to your Direct property page to complete the booking.
This article explains what is required, how to connect properties to Google Vacation Rentals, what happens after submission, and how to troubleshoot common listing issues.
Before You Start
To list properties on Google Vacation Rentals, you need:
A Direct booking site
A Direct Basic or Direct Premium plan
A Professional or Mogul Hospitable subscription
Eligible properties with complete listing details
Your Direct booking site can be:
A Hospitable-hosted site
A self-hosted site with a unique property page and Hospitable booking widget
Google Vacation Rentals requires a Direct booking site URL. Without a property page URL, guests cannot be redirected to complete bookings.
Requirements to List on Google
Each property must meet Google’s listing requirements.
Your property must have:
A full address
A Direct payout method
A property summary
At least one amenity
A listing name that matches the name shown on the property page
At least 8 high-resolution photos
At least 1 photo per room
Landscape-oriented images
Accepted image formats: JPG, JPEG, WEBP, or PNG
Google Vacation Rentals only supports:

What Happens After You Save
After you scope properties to Google:
Hospitable sends the property information to Google
Google reviews the listing
The listing status appears in Hospitable
New properties can take up to 30 days to appear on Google.
Updates to a live listing, such as changes to photos, descriptions, pricing, or availability, can restart Google’s review process and temporarily remove the property from search results.
Google controls the review and approval process. Hospitable cannot manually speed up listing approvals.
Google Vacation Rentals Statuses
Your property may show one of these statuses:
Pending
The property information has been sent to Google and is under review. This usually takes about 2 weeks, but can take up to 4 weeks.
Live
The property is live on Google. You’ll see a View on Google button that opens the listing on Google.
Issues
Google found a problem with the listing. Hover over the issue badge in Hospitable to review Google’s feedback.

How to Confirm Your Listing Is Live
To confirm that your property is visible on Google Vacation Rentals:
Look for the View on Google button in Hospitable
Search for the property manually on Google Travel
Confirm the property is still selected in Google Vacation Rentals settings
Check whether the property is still under review
If the property is live, clicking View on Google opens the public listing.
Listings under review may temporarily disappear from Google search results.
Monitoring Performance
Once your properties are live, you can monitor performance from the GVR tab.
You can review:
Impressions: how many times your property page was viewed on Google Travel
Click-through rate: how often users clicked from Google Travel to your Direct property page
Bookings: how many guests completed a booking request after clicking through from Google

Google may take time to process the removal.
Troubleshooting Google Vacation Rentals Listings
Listing Is Still Pending
Listings can remain pending while Google reviews the property. This can take up to 30 days.
A new review may also start when:
A listing is reactivated
Photos are updated
Listing details change
Availability changes significantly
During review:
The property may not appear publicly
The View on Google button may be unavailable
Google may temporarily remove the listing from search results
Hospitable cannot manually approve or accelerate Google reviews.
Listing Disappeared After Updates
Google may temporarily remove a listing after changes are made to:
Photos
Descriptions
Amenities
Availability
Pricing
This happens because Google starts a new review process after significant updates.
Allow at least 2 weeks after the latest update for the listing to reappear.
“View on Google” Button Is Missing
If the View on Google button is missing:
The property may still be under review
The property may not meet Google eligibility requirements
A Direct site URL may be missing
Google may have flagged an issue with the listing
The property may no longer be scoped to Google Vacation Rentals
Review the property status and issue details in Hospitable.
Duplicate Listing on Google
If the same property is already listed on Google Vacation Rentals through another platform, Google may only display one version of the listing.
You may need to remove the duplicate listing from the other platform before your Direct listing appears consistently.
Photos Are Not in the Expected Order
Hospitable cannot manually control the order of photos shown on Google Vacation Rentals. Google determines the photo order automatically.
Reviews Are Not Showing
Hospitable sends aggregate review ratings from Airbnb and Direct bookings. Review content is not currently displayed on Google Vacation Rentals.
