Written by Dawn Ginie Santoyo

Creating a Direct booking site allows you to showcase your properties, accept reservations, and process Direct bookings through Hospitable.

This article walks through the site creation process, explains what information you'll need, and outlines the next steps after your site is live.

Before You Start

Before creating your site, make sure:

  • Direct bookings are enabled on your account

  • At least one property is eligible for Direct bookings

  • Property details and photos are up to date

  • A payout method has been configured

If you have not prepared your properties yet, see:

Choose Which Properties to Display

During site creation, select the properties that should appear on your website.

Only eligible properties can be added to a Direct booking site.

Guests will be able to:

  • Browse included properties

  • View availability

  • Review pricing

  • Submit booking requests or complete Instant Book reservations

You can update which properties appear on the site later.

Review Your Site URL

After creating the site, Hospitable generates a default URL.

This URL can be shared immediately with guests.

You can later:

  • Connect a custom domain

  • Update branding

  • Customize content and navigation

Your site can be used immediately with the generated URL, even if a custom domain has not been configured.

Configure Your Site Before Publishing

Before sharing your site publicly, review:

Property Content

Make sure each property includes:

  • Accurate descriptions

  • Updated amenities

  • High-quality photos

  • House rules

  • Check-in information

Branding and Content

You can customize:

  • Site logo

  • Colors

  • Homepage sections

  • Property page content

  • Navigation links

Pricing and Booking Policies

Verify that:

  • Nightly rates are correct

  • Availability is accurate

  • Cancellation policies are assigned

  • Payment terms are configured

  • Security deposit settings are configured if needed

These settings determine the booking experience guests see during checkout.

Publish and Share Your Site

Once you're satisfied with your setup, your site is ready to accept bookings.

You can share:

  • The site homepage

  • Individual property pages

  • Direct booking links

Guests can immediately begin browsing and booking available properties.
