Publishing Your Direct Booking Site

Make your site live and accessible to guests using a Hospitable subdomain or your own domain

Written by Dawn Ginie Santoyo

Publishing your direct booking site makes it accessible to guests so they can browse your properties and submit booking requests.

This article explains how to publish your site, what to check before going live, and how your site is accessed after publishing.

Before You Publish

Before making your site live, confirm that everything is ready for guests.

Check your properties

  • All properties you want to display are enabled

  • Properties meet eligibility requirements

Review your content

Make sure your site includes:

  • Property descriptions and photos

  • Pricing and availability

  • Site title, images, and footer details

Incomplete content may affect how your site appears to guests.

Test your setup

Before publishing, review your site to ensure:

  • Pages load correctly

  • Property details display as expected

  • Booking flow works properly

How to Publish Your Site

To publish your site:

  1. Go to Direct Bookings β†’ Websites

  2. Select your site

  3. Click Publish

Once published, your site becomes accessible through a public URL.

How Guests Access Your Site

After publishing, your site can be accessed in two ways:

Hospitable subdomain

  • Your site is available on a Hospitable-provided URL

  • Example: yourname.hospitable.rentals

Your Hospitable subdomain is set when you create your site and cannot be changed later.

Custom domain (optional)

You can connect your own domain to your site, such as:

  • yourbrand.com

  • book.yourbrand.com

This replaces the Hospitable subdomain for guests.

Custom domains can only be connected after your site is published.

What Happens After Publishing

Once your site is live:

  • Guests can visit your site and browse properties

  • Booking requests can be submitted

  • Payments and confirmations follow your Direct booking setup

Any updates you make to your site or properties will automatically reflect on your live site.

Unpublishing or Updating Your Site

You can make changes to your site at any time:

  • Updates are applied automatically

  • No need to republish after making changes

If needed, you can:

  • Disable properties

  • Update content

  • Adjust settings

Common Issues When Publishing

If your site is not working as expected:

  • Properties may not be eligible or enabled

  • Content may be incomplete

  • Domain setup may not be finished
