Integrating Hospitable with Trellis adds an agentic AI layer to your short-term rental operations while keeping Hospitable as your system of record. Trellis continuously syncs properties, reservations, guest details, listings, and messages from Hospitable, bringing that context into one workspace alongside calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email, and OTA conversations. Its AI agents can answer guests around the clock in multiple languages, create and dispatch tasks, make contextual upsell and gap-night offers, and escalate issues to your team with the relevant context attached.
Trellis also provides workforce scheduling, photo checklists, automated workflows, and live task tracking for cleaners and technicians. Teams can begin in Copilot mode, where AI-generated actions require approval, and move selected agents to Autopilot as they gain confidence.
With two-way guest messaging and every action logged, Trellis helps operators automate more of the work around each reservation while maintaining control over what AI can do.
Before you start, you need:
An active Hospitable account, signed in as the account owner or a user with permission to authorize connected apps.
Admin access to your Trellis workspace, which is what lets you open Settings and add an integration.
Pop-ups allowed for your Trellis domain. The authorization opens in a small pop-up window, and a blocker will stop it.
Get started on Trellis
Go to Settings > Integrations, open the PMS Connections card, and click New Connection.
Search for Hospitable in the provider list and select it. Trellis shows a short confirmation screen: Connect your Hospitable account via secure authorization.
The Name field is pre-filled with Hospitable. Change it if you manage more than one Hospitable account, so the connections stay easy to tell apart. Otherwise leave it as it is.
Click Connect Hospitable. A pop-up window opens on Hospitable’s own authorization page. Sign in if you are not already, review the access Trellis is asking for, and click Authorize Trellis.
You never type Hospitable credentials into Trellis. Trellis shows Waiting for authorization... while the pop-up is open and updates on its own once you are done.
Trellis confirms with Successfully connected to Hospitable and starts importing your properties, reservations, contacts, photos, and recent conversations. This usually takes two to ten minutes depending on the size of your portfolio.
Open Properties, Reservations, Contacts, and Inbox to confirm everything arrived. If a property already existed in Trellis, use Mappings on the connection card to match it to the right Hospitable listing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to create an API key or access token? No. Trellis uses Hospitable’s authorization flow, so you approve access inside Hospitable and no key is copied between the two products.
How long does the initial sync take? Usually two to ten minutes. Larger portfolios take longer.
Can I reply to guests from Trellis? Yes. Conversations sync in both directions, and a reply sent in Trellis is delivered to the guest through Hospitable on their original booking channel.
What happens if I change a reservation in Hospitable? Date changes, guest updates, and cancellations sync to Trellis automatically.
Can I connect more than one Hospitable account? Yes. Each connection is its own card, so run the setup again and give the second connection a different name.
Can I disconnect the integration? Yes. Click Remove Connection on the Hospitable card, or revoke access from inside Hospitable. Properties, reservations, and conversations already imported into Trellis remain available.
This integration is built by Trellis. For further questions and assistance, reach out to [email protected] and include your workspace name and the time the issue started.
