Connect Hospitable with HostReply.ai to Automate Guest Messaging with AI

Use AI alongside Hospitable to respond to guest messages, handle routine inquiries, and escalate decisions to hosts via text when needed.

HostReply.ai is an AI-powered guest messaging assistant for short-term rental hosts that automatically responds to guest inquiries around the clock. When connected with Hospitable, HostReply.ai uses reservation details, property information, FAQs, and calendar availability to generate responses tailored to each guest’s stay.

The system can handle common questions, send proactive messages such as check-in reminders, and enforce rules around when sensitive information—such as door codes, WiFi passwords, or property addresses—is shared with guests.

Hosts can define communication guidelines that the AI follows in every conversation, such as avoiding discounts, consistently mentioning certain property details, or maintaining a specific tone of voice. If a request requires a host decision—such as approving an early check-in—the system escalates the conversation by sending the host a text message with the relevant context.

The host can reply directly by text, and the AI continues the conversation with the guest using that instruction. HostReply.ai can also interpret images sent by guests and forward them to hosts when escalation is needed, helping property managers automate routine communication while maintaining control over important decisions.

Get started on Hospitable

  1. Go to Apps.

  2. Click on HostReply.ai.

  3. Click on Get Started. You will be brought to their webpage to continue the connection process.

Or initiate the connection from HostReply.ai

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.

  2. Click Connect on the Hospitable card.

  3. In the modal that opens, click Connect with Hospitable.

  4. You'll be redirected to the Hospitable login page. Provide your credentials.

  5. Review the permissions then click on Authorize HostReply.ai.

  6. You'll be redirected back to HostReply. The modal will show a syncing state while your properties and conversations are being imported.

  7. Once complete, you'll see a summary: "Synced X properties and Y conversations".

  8. Click Done.

What Gets Synced

  • All your properties (including images, amenities, house rules, etc.)

  • Existing guest conversations and message history

  • Reservation details

After connecting, new guest messages arrive in real time — no manual syncing needed.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection failed? Make sure you're logged into the correct Hospitable account before authorizing.

  • Missing properties? Go to Settings > Integrations and click Sync to manually re-sync.

  • Token expired? If the connection stops working, disconnect and reconnect using the same steps above.
