Whimstay is a last-minute vacation rental marketplace that helps hosts fill unsold nights. Travelers can book up to 330 days in advance, and the discount you agree with Whimstay applies only to bookings made within 29 days of check-in.
Whimstay is the Merchant of Record for all bookings: it collects payment from guests at the time of booking, handles traveler cancellations and changes, and sends your payout after the guest checks in, with its commission deducted beforehand. Hosts are assigned a dedicated account manager, and the onboarding process takes about five minutes.
Whimstay also offers an optional damage protection plan and lets hosts share photos and videos for its social media and marketing campaigns.
Initiate the connection on Whimstay
Go to https://join.whimstay.com/contact_info_step and click Get started with Whimstay.
Fill in the signup form: company name, contact details, cancellation policy and your last-minute discount (minimum 10%, 20% recommended). select Hospitable as your PMS.
Optionally tick auto-publish new properties, accept the terms, and click Continue.On the "Connecting to Hospitable" page, check your details and click Connect your Hospitable account.
You'll be sent to the Hospitable login page (if you aren't already logged in).
Review the permissions then click Authorize Whimstay.
You will be redirected to Whimstay. Your properties start importing automatically.
Book your onboarding call with Whimstay's team, complete the Readiness Checklist (banking details and fees) and click I'm Ready to Onboard!
