How is the property name set/decided?
Whenever we detect a new listing under your account, a new property is created.
By default, we use the internal name of your listing on the booking channel as the name of the property.
Note: If you update the listing name directly on the booking channel, it will not automatically update the property name on Hospitable. Instead, you need to change the property's name manually on Hospitable.
How can I change the name of my property on Hospitable?
To change the name of the property:
Go to Properties.
Click on your property.
At the top of the page, click on the name of the property.
Erase and type into that field.
Edit the name.
Click away to save the name.
Note: There is no "Save" button! The name will save automatically when you click away from the text field.
How can I change the public name of my property or listings?
This is where you change the name that your guests see on your listing, when viewing it on the respective booking platform.
Currently, Hospitable can only control and set the listing name on your listings on Airbnb and Direct. If you change the public property name, we will not be able to push that to Booking.com, Agoda, or Vrbo.
To change the property's public name:
Go to Properties
Select the property you want to change the public name for
Go to Details on the left-hand side panel
On the Essentials page, find the Property name field
Edit your property name
This can be done for all listings at once. Click "Use one value" if the names are currently broken down by platform.
This can also be done by individual platforms. Click "Edit by channel" to set different names by platform.
Note: Currently, Hospitable can only control the public property/listing name on Airbnb and Direct!
Can I change the name of all of my properties at once?
If you want to change all property names to match the name of their current lead listing on the booking channel, you can reset the names of your properties from the Settings > Properties page.
