Secondary Users can receive certain types of notifications.

Push Notifications

Secondary Users with access to the Inbox can set up push notifications, as long as they have allowed notifications on their device (phone or email).

Push Notifications are sent for the following situations:

  • New messages from guests across all of our supported channels: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking, Direct, and manual. Notifications will be sent for inquiries, instant bookings, and requests to book events that come with a guest message.

  • All Direct requests to book

  • Reviews from guests (Airbnb)

  • "Short notice," or a message that has been prepared to be sent "last minute" to a guest.

  • Occasional notifications in relation to a large outage, upcoming Townhall on Zoom, etc.

Learn more about push notifications, including how to enable them, here.

SMS and Email Notifications

Secondary Users do not receive email notifications in relation to reservations and other updates about Hospitable services. This includes notifications about payment issues, sent automated messages, prepared messages, captured views, and message failures.

To make sure your team stays in the loop, you can add them as a Teammate and use Notification Rules to alert them via SMS and/or email about new reservations, alterations, cancellations, and inquiries, as well as check-in/check-out reminders.
