Regardless of which OTA - big or small - that you are distributing your properties on, you can import your bookings into Hospitable using an iCal link.
Where can I find my iCal export link?
This will be different for every channel, but look for any option or menu similar to "Export Calendar" or "iCal Feed" for your listing on that channel.
Where can I add the iCal feed to my Hospitable property?
Go to any of your property's pages and you will see an Imported iCal section under the listings within that property. Click on the Add External iCal button.
How often are iCal imports updated?
Currently, once an hour.
Will this iCal import also push information back to the channel?
No!
For example, if you imported an iCal link from Hipcamp, we will only pull bookings from it. For Hipcamp to pick up on bookings from other OTAs or Hospitable (Manual and Direct), you would need to export Hospitable's iCal feed into Hipcamp.
Which Hospitable features work with iCal bookings?
Your property's calendar will be automatically blocked off just like with bookings from Airbnb.
The iCal-imported bookings will show up in your calendar on Hospitable.
If the iCal feed provides an email for the guest, automated messaging will also work.
Tasks and team notifications should work as normal.
Reservation financials and metrics will work if you manually add financials details to the iCal bookings (see below).
How do I edit the email, guest details, and financials of an iCal-imported booking?
Find the booking in your calendar, click on it, and you'll see the option to edit the booking in the pop-up.
Which channels are supported for iCal imports?
Hospitable supports any external iCal feed, except for Hospitable's own iCals.
In cases where you cannot yet use our full API connection with Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, or Agoda, we support iCals from those platforms as well!
