The Property iCal feed lets you view reservations for a specific property in an external calendar app or share that calendar with a third party. This is useful if you want a read-only view of reservations outside of Hospitable or need to share reservation visibility with another service.

What the Property iCal is used for

You can use a Property iCal feed to:

  • View your reservations in calendar apps such as Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Android Calendar

  • Share a property’s reservation calendar with booking platforms that Hospitable doesn't directly connect with (see: Connecting channels with iCal imports to learn how to import their iCal feed)

  • Provide third parties with visibility into reservation dates

Note: Property iCal feeds are read-only. Changes made in an external calendar will not sync back to Hospitable.

How often the Property iCal updates

The Property iCal feed includes all reservations for a single property and is refreshed approximately every 40 minutes.

External calendar apps and booking platforms may refresh iCal feeds less frequently.

What information is included

Your Property iCal feed includes the following reservation details:

  • Guest name

  • Reservation dates and times

  • Reservation code

  • Property name

  • Guest phone number (if available)

  • Guest email address (if available)

  • Number of adults

  • Number of children

How to access your Property iCal

To copy your Property iCal link:

  1. Click the name of the property you want to share

  2. Scroll to the Export calendar

  3. Select Copy iCal link

    1. This copies the iCal URL to your clipboard. You will then need to paste it into a calendar app or share it with a third party.

Revoking iCal access

If you need to stop sharing a Property iCal feed:

  1. Go to the Export calendar section for the property

  2. Select the three dots next to the iCal link

  3. Choose Revoke calendar access

  4. Once access is revoked, any previously shared iCal link will no longer update. If you wish to continue sharing reservations, you'll need to copy a new link and re-import it.
