Zapier is a web-based automation tool that acts as a bridge between Hospitable and thousands of available apps to supercharge your workflow. Automate emails, record-keeping, SMS and more using this free tool.

Automated connections called Zaps can be set up in minutes with no coding. Each Zap has one app as the Trigger, where your information comes from and which causes one or more Actions in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically.

Get started on Hospitable

  1. Go to Apps.

  2. Click on Zapier.

  3. Click on Get Started. You will be brought to Zapier where you will sign up or sign in and complete the connection.

Or initiate the connection from Zapier

  1. Login to your Zapier account.

  2. In the search bar at the top, type Hospitable.

  3. Click on Connect Hospitable. This will bring you to the Zap creation page with Hospitable already selected as the first step (Trigger).

  4. On the right side you will see an option to select the Trigger event and then select the Hospitable account to connect it to.

  5. When connecting an account for the first time, you will be asked to login to Hospitable.

  6. Click on Authorize Zapier. After this step, your Hospitable account is fully connected and you can continue creating your workflow (also called a Zap).

Create a workflow

You can find the instructions on how to create a workflow in Zapier along with some demo videos in this article.

How is it different from webhooks?

With webhooks, you need an intermediary with its own API to receive the data, process it and send to the destination app which may require a more involved configuration.

Zapier is such as an intermediary but with a user-friendly interface and the least friction in creating workflows. You do not need to configure webhooks to use with Zapier. If your desired destination is one of their supported apps (very likely!) then Zapier is the tool of choice.

Our Zapier integration acts on the same triggers and carries the same data as our webhooks.

If you are running into an issue with your Zap setup, you can open a ticket with Zapier support at https://zapier.com/app/get-help.
