Connect Hospitable with Trustd.ai to Automate Guest ID Verification and Screening

Trustd.ai is an automated guest-screening platform designed for short-term rental hosts and property managers, offering real-time ID verification and background checks against major criminal databases.

When connected with Hospitable, Trustd.ai uses reservation and guest details to support streamlined screening workflows that help assess guest eligibility before a stay. The platform is built around the concept that guest behavior is a key indicator of trustworthiness and is developing a proprietary Trust Metric based on observed risk patterns across prior stays. While this behavioral trust scoring is planned for a future release, the current integration focuses on providing identity verification and screening tools that can support risk management and operational decision-making.

Get started on Hospitable

  1. Go to Apps.

  2. Click on Trustd.ai.

  3. Click on Get Started. You will be redirected to their website to continue the onboarding and connection flow.

Or, initiate the connection from Trustd.ai

  1. Complete the onboarding form at https://trustd.ai/contact-us. Upon submission, the Trustd.ai support team will send you a secure onboarding link. Using the provided link, verify your information, complete the sign-up process and confirm your email address, as prompted.

  2. While inside your Trustd.ai account, you will see the Authorize button. Clicking on this will bring you to the Hospitable login page.

  3. After providing your Hospitable credentials, you will be asked to Authorize Trustd.ai.

  4. After authorizing, you will be redirected back to Trustd.ai.

  5. You will be asked to confirm your ID verification and email notification settings.

Once you've completed the above steps, the short code %guest_portal_trustdai% will now be available for use in your Hospitable message templates.

When a new booking is received, Trustd.ai automatically generates a unique, secure guest form URL which will be populated in the message prepared through the %guest_portal_trustdai% short code.

Once the guest completes the form and provides authorization, Trustd.ai performs the guest screening process, including ID verification (if enabled), and notifies you via email upon completion.
