Troubleshooting Verification Issues
Issue | What to do |
Verification link expired | Go to Settings → Payments & Payouts, click ••• → Verify payout method to generate a new link. Links expire after 20 minutes. |
Bank not found in Plaid | Search using your bank’s full legal name. If it still doesn’t appear, use the manual verification option instead. |
Plaid connection error or timeout | Wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, try a different browser or clear your cache. |
“Failed to update” during business verification | A required field is missing or incorrectly formatted. Check all business and decision-maker fields for typos or formatting issues (e.g. phone number without country code). Re-enter the affected section and save. |
General form submission errors | Clear your browser cache, try a different browser, and disable autofill — browser autofill can insert formatting the form doesn’t accept. Check your internet connection and retry. |
Verification stuck on “In Review” for more than 3 business days | Contact support — your case may need escalation to the payment processor. |
Entered wrong bank details?
Account not yet verified: Remove the bank account from your payout settings and add it again with the correct details.
Account already verified: Bank details cannot be edited once verified. Add a new bank account with the correct details, verify it, then assign it to your properties.
Chase Bank users: Chase may provide a substitute account number for third-party connections. Double-check the account number shown during verification, as it may differ from your actual account number.
