What are markup rates, and what are they useful for?

When you connect a new booking channel to Hospitable, you are asked what markup rate you would like to be applied to listings from that connected channel (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Agoda).

These markups can be edited at any time after connecting the channel. You can read more about the booking platform level markup rates here.

Can I set different markup rates for different listings on the same booking platform?

Yes, you can also set markup rates by individual listings, if you need to differentiate them for whatever reason.

For a more granular pricing control, you have the option to set a markup rate applicable only to a specific listing within a property group.

Adding a markup rate will automatically update prices on your Airbnb, Agoda, and Booking.com calendars.

In order for updates to be pushed to Vrbo, "Pricing sync" must be enabled on your Hospitable account.
