Can I Change The Check-in and/or Check-out Times For a Single Reservation?
There may be times when you wish to change the check-in or check-out times for a particular reservation. If this is the case, you can modify the time of the guest's booking on Hospitable, which will update both the timing of scheduled messages and your smart lock codes.
How To Change The Check-in or Check-out Time For a Single Reservation
You can do this from either the conversation in the Inbox or on the Calendar.
Changing the check-in and check-out time from the Hospitable Inbox
Go to Inbox
Open the guest's conversation thread
Click on the check-in or check-out time at the top of the left sidebar. (On mobile, this is within a sub-menu accessed by selecting ... at the top right within a guest conversation.)
Adjust the time using the up and down arrows.
Changing the check-in and check-out time from the Hospitable Calendar
Go to Calendar
Click on the guest's reservation block
Click on the check-in or check-out time in the top right of the sidebar.
Adjust the time using the up and down arrows.
What Happens If I Change The Check-in or Check-out Time on Hospitable?
Affect on reservation details on the booking platform:
Changing the check-in or check-out time on Hospitable does not change the reservation details on the original booking channel (Airbnb, Agoda, Booking.com, Vrbo). It only changes it in the UI on Hospitable and will affect the scheduling of messages and door codes.
Affect on scheduled messages:
Changing the check-in and check-out time of your reservation has an affect on scheduled messaging rules, such as ones for "Before Check-in" and "Before Check-out".
Exception: If you have manually edited the send time r content of your scheduled message, then the send time will not be changed when you change the check-in and check-out time of the reservation.

Affect on door codes and devices:
Door codes will be updated to reflect the new check-in and check-out time when you change that on the reservation.
The same applies to other devices set to a timer relative to check-in and check-out, such as thermostats.
What Happens If I Change The Check-in or Check-out Time on Airbnb (or another booking platform)?
Changes made to check-in or check-out times directly on the booking platform (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com) do not automatically sync back to Hospitable.
This means:
If you or a guest changes the check-in time on Airbnb, that change will not appear in Hospitable automatically.
Hospitable's scheduled messages, smart lock codes, and team notifications will still use the original check-in/check-out time unless you also update it in Hospitable.
To fix this: Update the check-in or check-out time in Hospitable as well, using the steps described above (via the Inbox or Calendar). This ensures your automations, door codes, and messaging all reflect the correct times.
