Conditions for custom codes

You may create a custom code that will only be shown once a certain condition is met.

In that case, the replacement of the custom code with the matching text will only occur if that condition is met. If the condition is not met, the custom code will not be replaced by the matching text, and the custom code will be erased from the message.

Here is the list of conditions that are available for custom codes.

  • The guest has created their account in the last 3 days. 

  • The guest has no phone number. 

  • The guest has no email. 

  • The guest has no email and no phone number. 

  • The guest has no email or no phone number. 

  • The guest has no profile picture. 

  • The guest has no profile description. 

  • The guest has received 10 reviews or more. 

  • The guest has received 5 reviews or less. 

  • The guest has received at least one review. 

  • The guest has not received any review. 

  • The guest has no review or recommendation. 

  • The guest has verified their identity. 

  • The guest has not verified their identity. 

  • The guest is a Superhost. 

  • The guest is likely to take a plane.

  • You have never sent any message before.

  • The guest didn't send a message within 24 hours.

  • The guest sent a message within 24 hours.

  • The guest will bring pets.

  • Check-in is within 14 days. 

  • Check-in is within 5 days. 

  • Check-in is within 3 days.

  • Check-in is today or tomorrow. 

  • The reservation was booked through Instant Book or after a pre-approval. 

  • The night after the planned check-out is available.

  • The night after the planned check-out is not available.*

  • The night before the planned check-in is not available.*

  • The night before the planned check-in is not available.*

  • The reservation is for one night only. 

  • The reservation is for 2 nights and more. 

  • The reservation is for 3 nights and more. 

  • The reservation is for 7 nights and more. 

  • The reservation is for 8 nights and more. 

  • The reservation is for one guest. 

  • The reservation includes children (2-12 years old)

  • The reservation includes infants (0-2 years old)

  • The reservation includes children or infants.

*Availability is determined by availability on the Hospitable calendar which includes both blocks caused by reservations and any dates blocked for any reason without a reservation.

Additional conditions are available when you create a custom code in the context of a listing. 

For example, for a listing with a maximum capacity of 4 guests, you can have access to the following conditions:

• The reservation is for 2 guests or more.
• The reservation is for 3 guests or more.
• The reservation is for 2 guests or less.
• The reservation is for 3 guests or less.
