Editing a Business

To edit a Business, select the Business you'd like to edit:

  • Operations > Your Business > Select your Business

  • Under the General tab, you can make your desired changes to your Business name, Business model, or Properties.

Changing the Business model affects the features available to Properties associated with that Business.

  • Manager Business gives you access to Owner Management features like Statements, Invoices, and the Owner Portal. It also unlocks Accounting features for property managers.

  • Owner Business – gives you access to Accounting features for owners and self-managers.

  • Arbitrage Business – gives you access to Accounting features for rental arbitrage operators.

⚠️ Editing a Manager Business to a new Business model will result in a loss of Owner management features for properties associated with that Business. Please reach out to our support team if you have any questions about how your business should be configured: [email protected].

Deleting a Business

A Business can be deleted as long as there is no active accounting software connection, and no published or paid Statements or Invoices.

Understand the effects of deleting a Business:

When you delete a business, its reports and configurations are removed as well. Properties associated with the deleted Business can then be associated with a different Business.

Owner

Profit & Loss will no longer be available for the Business and associated Properties.

Accounting software will be removed.

Arbitrage

Profit & Loss will no longer be available for the Business and associated Properties.

Accounting software will be removed.

Manager

Profit & Loss will no longer be available for the Business and associated Properties.

Accounting software will be removed.

The Business's Owner's Portal will be taken offline. Subdomains for Hospitable-managed domains associated with the Business's Owner's Portal will be cleared.

Owner Statements and Invoices will no longer be generated, and cannot be accessed.

Owners and Reservation commissions are not affected by deleting a Business, and will continue to exist to assign to properties that are associated with another Manager business. (As of Oct 9, 2025)

Deleting a Business:

  • Go to Operations > Your Business > Select the Business you'd like to delete

  • In the General or Properties tab, click 'Delete'
