A Business in Hospitable is assigned a business model. A business model should align with the way you operate your business. Business models customize your experience with Hospitable's Operations module, making new features relevant to that particular model available in your account.

Owner

Choose the Owner business model if you own the properties that you manage.

Unlocks: Accounting

Owning a property and managing it yourself has unique tax implications and benefits. We'll recommend an Accounting structure for these properties that enables you to take advantage of tax benefits available for self-managers.

  • Transactions: Log your expenses related to the properties under your business

  • Reports: Profit and Loss

Manager

Managing or co-hosting a property for other owners requires effort to manage your client relationships. As you scale, managing your owners experience becomes every bit as important as managing your guests experience.

Unlocks: Owner management

  • Add Owners (Coming soon: Invite them to their Owner's Portal).

  • Create Reservation Commission agreements.

  • Process Adjustments to ensure your commission is applied accordingly.

  • Add Transactions to charge or reimburse Owners.

  • Review and Publish automated Owner Statements and Invoices.
