If you see the error “Property photos are still uploading” when trying to publish your Booking.com listing, don’t worry—this is usually temporary.

First: Give it some time

When a Booking.com listing is newly created or published, it can take up to 24 hours to finish processing the listing photos.
If it’s been less than 24 hours, we recommend waiting before taking any action.

If the error lasts longer than 24 hours

If the message is still showing after a full day (or longer), it likely means Booking.com isn’t receiving any photos, even though photos may exist for other channels.

This can happen when photos are uploaded but not enabled for Booking.com specifically.

How to fix it

Step 1: Go to your property’s Photos

Open your property in Hospitable and navigate to the Photos section.

Step 2: Check photo channel settings

Each photo can be assigned to specific channels (Airbnb, Direct, Booking.com, etc.).

  • You may notice photos are enabled for Airbnb and Direct

  • But Booking.com is not selected for any photos

Booking.com requires at least one photo (including a cover photo) to be enabled.

Step 3: Enable photos for Booking.com

You can do this in a few ways:

  • Select one photo (starting with a cover photo is fine), or

  • Select multiple photos, or

  • Select all photos

Then:

  1. Enable Booking.com as a channel

  2. Apply/save the changes

Step 4: Try publishing again

Once photos are enabled for Booking.com, retry publishing your listing.

What should happen next

  • Booking.com receives the photos successfully

  • The “photos are still uploading” error clears

  • Your listing publishes normally

Still stuck?

If you’ve:

  • Waited more than 24 hours

  • Enabled at least one photo (ideally several) for Booking.com

  • Tried publishing again

…and the error is still showing, reach out to [email protected] and let us know what you’re seeing. We’re happy to take a closer look.
