Connect Hospitable with JottoGo to Create Personalized Printed Welcome Notes

Integrating Hospitable with JottoGo helps hosts create memorable first impressions by automatically generating personalized printed welcome notes for every reservation. Using reservation details and guest conversations from Hospitable, JottoGo identifies thoughtful touches—such as birthdays, anniversaries, returning guests, pets, and dietary preferences—to create beautifully branded notes that are placed in the property before guests arrive. Hosts and teams can review, print, or distribute Jottos through the dedicated Crew Portal, ensuring every guest receives the same warm, personal welcome regardless of who prepares the property.

By combining automation with a tangible, handwritten-style touch, JottoGo helps hosts create a more memorable arrival experience that builds goodwill and encourages better reviews.

Initiate the connection on JottoGo

  1. Login to your JottoGo account.

  2. Go to Dashboard → Account → Integrations.

  3. Click Connect Hospitable. You will be redirected to the Hospitable login page if you aren't already logged in.

  4. Review the permissions, then click on Authorize JottoGo.

  5. You will be redirected back to JottoGo.

  6. Go to Dashboard → Add Property to connect your account and import listings as part of the setup process.

Importing and linking properties

Each Hospitable listing becomes a property in JottoGo.

If you’ve already created the property manually in JottoGo, simply link the existing property from Hospitable.

To import a listing:

  • Go to Dashboard → Add Property, or

  • Open an existing property’s Booking Sync section and click Link Listing.

Booking synchronisation

Bookings are synchronised automatically every 15 minutes.

You can also refresh bookings manually:

  • Guest Jotto: Click Refresh Bookings for that property.

  • Crew Portal: Crew members can click Refresh Bookings to check for recent changes.

Hospitable also pushes booking updates to JottoGo, so most changes appear within approximately 15 minutes.

Privacy and guest information

JottoGo uses reservation details and guest messages from Hospitable to personalise welcome letters. This may include guest names, celebrations, dietary preferences, pet information and other details guests choose to share before arrival.

Guest information is retained only for the duration of the booking. It is automatically removed at 11:59 PM on the checkout day, using the property’s timezone—long enough to personalise and deliver the welcome letter, but not retained as a permanent guest database.

Troubleshooting

No listings after connecting

Confirm the property is active in Hospitable.

If you connected from Dashboard → Account → Integrations, you’ll still need to import or link your listings to JottoGo properties.

Open Dashboard → Add Property and import the listing, or link it to an existing property.

Bookings missing

  • Wait for the next automatic 15-minute synchronisation.

  • On Guest Jotto, click Refresh Bookings.

  • In the Crew Portal, click Refresh Bookings.

  • If the booking exists in Hospitable but still doesn’t appear after a manual refresh, confirm the property is linked to the correct Hospitable listing under Booking Sync.

Connection expired

Reconnect your account from Dashboard → Account → Integrations.

If the OAuth connection expires, JottoGo displays a notification banner on your dashboard.

After reconnecting, either click Refresh Bookings or wait for the next automatic synchronisation.
