Short codes are multilingual!
This gives you the ability to use our short codes in your different language templates within your messaging rules so that your messages can always adapt to the language your guest prefers to use.
The short codes adapt to the language used in the conversation thread with your guest.
You can read more about the guest language detection, and how that works, here.
For example, if you have a lot of customers who are German speakers, you can use our short code, %nights%, to display the number of nights the guest is staying within your German language templates. This %nights% short code would display as "3 Nächte" to your German-speaking guests. In your English language template, the message will say "3 nights".
Note: While our short codes support multiple languages, our custom codes are not multilingual.
