Hospitable offers several options for sharing both your task calendars and reservation calendars.
(1) Share a Teammate's Task Calendar Via iCal
We generate an iCal URL for each teammate, which contains all tasks assigned to that teammate. It does not include reservations.
Teammates only see tasks assigned specifically to them.
If the iCal feed appears blank, ensure that tasks have been created and assigned within Hospitable. Double-check that the iCal link corresponds to the correct teammate profile.
How To Share Task iCal With Teammates
You can copy the iCal feed link manually and send it to your teammate, or you can send them an automatic email with instructions on how to use the iCal feed.
To copy the iCal feed :
Go to Operations.
Click on Teammates in the sidebar.
Click on the selected member of the team.
On the new page, in the upper right corner, click on the Copy the iCal feed button.
Send the iCal feed to your teammate manually.
To send an email with instructions on how to use the iCal feed:
Go to Operations.
Click on Teammates in the sidebar.
Click on the selected member of the team.
On the new page, in the upper right corner, click on the "•••" icon.
Click on the Send instructions option.
A copied iCal can be imported into the calendar app of choice (such as Google Calendar), following the instructions in this article. Once obtained, anyone can use the iCal link, and it is not restricted to a teammate.
(2) Share a Calendar of Reservations Via iCal
We generate an iCal URL for each property, which includes all of the reservations. It does not include tasks.
You can obtain the reservations iCal from the individual property page (go to Properties > Click on the property. Click Copy the iCal feed to copy it to your clipboard, or ... > Open in calendar application).
A copied iCal can be imported into the calendar app of choice (such as Google Calendar), following the instructions in this article. Once obtained, anyone can use the iCal link, and it is not restricted to a teammate.
(3) Share a Task and/or Reservation Calendar Via Hospitable's User Management
You can invite a secondary user in User management and customize their permissions. Secondary users will be able to log in to Hospitable using their own credentials and access the Calendar based on the permissions you set for them.
Note: Teammates cannot view a calendar directly in the Hospitable app unless set up as a secondary user.
