Requesting ID verification from your guests is now available, directly through the rental agreement process.
This is offered as an optional setting in your rental agreement templates, that can be chosen to opt in or opt out of, for all reservations related to the properties scoped to your rental agreements.
Once you opt in to this setting, guests will be prompted to upload a photo ID and selfie during the rental agreement step in the guest portal. This verification uses facial recognition and follows a streamlined process adapted from our existing Direct Premium ID verification system.
Once the ID is verified, a copy of the guest’s ID, can be found in the inbox thread with the guest.
The current charge for this process is $2 per reservation. This feature will only verify the guest’s ID, it does not complete any additional checks regarding the risk of the booking etc.
The cost of the ID verification is added to your monthly invoice, you will only be billed for verifications that have been completed by the guest.
