If you're seeing errors about invalid room configuration or capacity, this means your property's room details don't add up correctly.

The most common configuration errors are:

  • Zero guest capacity set for the property.

  • Bed counts don't match guest capacity.

  • Invalid room types for your property type.

  • Missing or incomplete room details from Airbnb.

How to Fix This Error

The best solution is to complete room details in your Airbnb account, so Hospitable can push those to Booking.com successfully.

  1. Go to your Airbnb listing.

  2. Add complete information for each room:

    • Room type (bedroom, living room, etc.)

    • Bed type and count (1 king bed, 2 single beds, etc.)

    • Room-specific amenities

  3. Set realistic guest capacity based on total sleeping arrangements.

  4. Save changes.

  5. Check that these have synced to the Property > Details page on Hospitable or re-sync.

  6. Try creating the Booking.com listing again.

Tips Based on Property Type

These are the things we'd recommend checking based on your property:

For multi-room properties:

  • At least one bedroom is required.

  • Configure bed types for each room.

  • Set appropriate occupancy limits.

  • Don't leave room configuration empty.

For single-room properties:

  • Choose appropriate unit type (apartment, studio, etc.).

  • Configure bed arrangements.

  • Set maximum guest capacity.
