Applying Your Brand and Domain to your Owner's Portal

This article explains how to add a subdomain to your owner's portal URL for the purpose of branding.

The Owner's Portal is included in the Mogul plan.

By default, your Owner's Portal is accessible to invited and logged in Owners at owners.hospitable.com. Your Owner's Portal will always be accessible here, but you can also connect a domain that more closely aligns with Your Brand.

Your Brand

Define Your Brand to use on Owner's Statements, Invoices and your Owner's Portal.

  • Navigate to Settings > Brands.

  • Upload a Brand logo.

    • This will be used on the login screen of your Owner's Portal, when accessed from your connected domain.

    • This will be displayed in the Owner's Portal for logged in Owners.

  • Upload a Brand icon.

    • This will be used as the favicon.

  • Define a Brand name.

    • This will be used on the login screen of your Owner's Portal, when accessed from your connected domain.

  • Choose a Primary color, if you'd prefer something other than Hospitable Grape.

  • Click Save.

Domains

In order to connect a domain to your Owner's Portal, you must first buy a domain or connecting an existing domain to Hospitable.

Connect the domain and sub-domain to your Owner's Portal:

  • Under Operations > My Business > select your Business > go to the Owner Portal tab. (Note: the Owner Portal tab is only available on business whose business model is 'Manager'.)

  • Under Domain, select your desired domain from the dropdown.

  • Optionally, specify a different subdomain.

  • Click 'Save Configuration'.

Domain changes may take a few minutes to apply for Hospitable-managed domains, but DNS propagation for externally managed domains can take up to 48 hours for full global propagation. Please Preview the portal after making any domain changes to ensure they have applied before inviting your owners.

⚠️ Connecting an externally managed domain requires additional DNS Configuration to set your desired Owner's Portal subdomain.

Hospitable can manage existing domains for you. Read more about externally purchased domains.
