Hospitable allows you to initiate setup for Payments by Booking.com, but all payment processing, collection, and payout configuration are handled within Booking.com.

This article explains how to access the Payments page, enroll in Payments by Booking.com, and where to find payout details for your reservations.


What the Payments Page Is For

The Payments page is used to start the setup process for Payments by Booking.com.

Payments by Booking.com is a system where Booking.com collects guest payments and sends payouts to hosts. It is designed to simplify transactions and reduce the need for hosts to manage payments directly.

Hospitable does not collect payments or charge guests for Booking.com reservations. All payment processing is handled entirely within Booking.com.


Access the Payments Page

The Payments page is only visible for properties that include at least one Booking.com listing.

To navigate to the Payments page:

  1. Go to Hospitable → Properties

  2. Select your property

  3. Click Payments in the left-hand menu

Enroll in Payments by Booking.com

Before enrolling, you may need to grant Hospitable permission to manage payments on your behalf in Booking.com.

If permission is required, you will see a prompt on the Payments page.

To enroll:

  1. Go to Hospitable → Properties

  2. Select your property

  3. Click Payments

  4. Click Enroll

  5. Choose your payout method

  6. Select your payout frequency

  7. Click Submit enrollment request

Where to Check Payout Details

To view detailed payout information for your Booking.com reservations, use the Booking.com Extranet.

Steps:

  1. Log in to the Booking.com Extranet

  2. Go to Finance → Payout info

In this section, you can find:

  • Payout details: Summary of payments sent to your account

  • Payment method: Whether payouts are sent via Virtual Credit Card (VCC) or bank transfer

  • Charge breakdown: Itemized charges per reservation, including fees and commissions


Net vs Gross Payouts on Booking.com

Booking.com may send payouts using either net or gross amounts, depending on how your account is configured.

  • Gross payouts: You receive the full reservation amount, and Booking.com invoices you for the commission separately

  • Net payouts: Booking.com deducts commission and fees before sending your payout

Hospitable does not control whether your payouts are net or gross. This setting is managed entirely by Booking.com.

Important Notes About Booking.com Payments
