For properties connected through the Vrbo Partner Connection, the Payments page allows you to control how guest payments are processed for that property.
Depending on your account configuration, you may be able to:
Choose between Hospitable and Stripe as your payment processor
Assign a payout account
View or manage Vrbo commission settings
Payment settings are managed at the property level, allowing different properties to use different payment configurations.
Changes made on this page only affect future reservations. Existing reservations keep the payment configuration that was active when they were created.
Access the Payments Page
To access payment processing settings:
Go to Properties.
Select the property.
Click Payments.
Open the Vrbo payments tab.

Choose a Payment Processor
The Vrbo Payment Processing section allows you to select how guest payments are processed for the property.
Available options may include:
Hospitable
Stripe
The payment processor selected here will be used for future Vrbo Partner reservations created for the property.

Available payment processor options depend on the property's location and payment eligibility.
Change the Payment Processor
To change the payment processor:
Open the Vrbo payments tab.
Select Hospitable or Stripe.
Click Save changes.
Future reservations will use the selected payment processor.
Existing reservations continue using the payment processor that was active when the reservation was created.
Changing payment processors may require updates to your tax configuration.
Payout Bank Account
The payout bank account section displays the account that will receive payouts for future Vrbo reservations.
To manage payout accounts:
Click Manage bank accounts.
Add, update, verify, or remove payout methods as needed.

Payment settings are managed separately for each property.
Different properties can use different payment processors.

Why can't I select Stripe?
Stripe must be connected and eligible to process Vrbo reservations.
If Stripe is unavailable, verify that your Stripe account is connected and supported for the property's location.
Why did my existing reservation keep the old payment processor?
Payment processor changes only apply to future reservations.
Existing reservations keep the payment processor that was active when the reservation was created.
Why don't I see the Vrbo payments tab?
Verify that:
The property is connected through the Vrbo Partner Connection
The Vrbo connection has completed syncing successfully
Why don't I see a payout account?
A payout account must be configured before payouts can be sent.
Use Manage bank accounts to add or assign a payout method.
