When a host shares a task photo with you, the link opens an evidence page containing the photo and a set of read-only details about when and where it was taken. This page is designed so you can verify the photo is authentic - useful for damage claims, insurance disputes, and anywhere else proof of condition is needed.
Everything on the page is captured automatically by the Tasks App when the photo is uploaded, and none of it can be edited afterwards.
What's on the page
The photo
The photo appears at the top of the page exactly as it was uploaded to the task. It has not been edited, cropped, or altered.
Property location
The address of the property the task belongs to. This tells you which property the photo relates to.
Photo taken at
The date and time the photo was captured, shown in the property's timezone (not the viewer's or the teammate's).
Device
The device the teammate used to take the photo (for example, the make and model of their phone).
Coordinates
The exact latitude and longitude recorded with the photo. This is the precise location where the photo was taken.
Map
A small map showing two pins:
The property location.
The location where the photo was taken.
The map lets you see at a glance whether the photo was taken at the property or somewhere else.
Everything on this page is read-only. The photo and its details are captured automatically when a teammate uploads the image and cannot be changed by anyone - including the host who shared the link.
