Moving a reservation to another owner statement property changes which property's owner statement shows the reservation for the current statement period. This is a reporting change only. The booking on the Airbnb, Vrbo, or other channel does not change. The guest does not get a message about this change.
💡 This changes owner statement reporting only. It does not move the reservation to another listing or change guest stay details.
Summary
Use this when a guest stayed at one property, but you need the reservation on a different property's owner statement for the same period.
What changes
The statement property (which property's statement lists the reservation).
Owners, management fees, payout settings, business, and accounting connection on the owner statement (when you use accounting sync).
Statement totals on the open source and destination statements.
What does not change
The listing property tied to the OTA booking.
Guest-facing reservation details (dates, channel, messages).
Requirements
Moving a reservation is available on the Mogul plan. Your role must have access to Owner Statements.
The source statement must be in Draft or In review status. The reservation must still be on that statement. It must not have an active split payout. Its owner-statement financials must not be locked or paid.
Move a reservation to another statement property
Go to Operations → Your business → Statements.
Open a statement in Draft or In review that includes the reservation.
In the Reservations table, click an owner amount with a dotted underline to open the Calculation breakdown.
Click Move to another property.
Select a Property. If the list is empty, see Why is my property list empty? below.
Review Move to [property — month year]? Compare Current and Recalculated under Total due to owner for the same statement period.
Click Move reservation to confirm.
If you do not see Move to another property, the reservation or statement is not eligible.
Owner-due preview
Current is total due to owner on the source statement today. Recalculated is total due to owner on the destination property for the same statement period, using that property's management fees and rules. Amounts can differ when commission rates or recognition rules differ. You must select a property and see a preview before Move reservation is enabled.
Destination property rules
A property appears only when all of these are true:
Same Hospitable account as the source statement.
Same currency as the reservation.
Active owners on the destination for the stay dates.
Applicable management fees on the destination for this reservation.
Matching payout recipient and payout configuration (manager vs owner payout and related co-host and fee-reporting settings).
An open destination statement (Draft or In review) for the same period as the source statement. Published or Paid destination statements cannot receive the move.
For owner-payout (invoice-style) setups, the destination must use a compatible owner-payout configuration. A property with a different payout recipient will not appear.
Why is my property list empty?
Hospitable shows No eligible properties when no property meets every rule above. Check currency, payout recipient settings, owners, management fees, and an open destination statement for the same period. The current statement property is never listed.
After you confirm
The reservation is removed from the source open statement and added to the destination open statement for the same period.
Both statement totals update. The listing property on the channel booking stays the same.
If totals do not refresh, close the dialog and reload the statement.
If the move fails
These messages mean the reservation was not moved. Both statements and their totals stay unchanged.
Locked or paid financials: Unlock or resolve paid financials if your process allows; otherwise you cannot move this reservation.
Active split payout: Resolve split payout setup before you try again.
Cannot move from a paid or published statement: Open a Draft or In review source statement, or adjust your workflow if unpublishing is allowed.
Not on this statement anymore: Refresh and start from the statement that still lists the reservation.
Destination not eligible / no open destination statement: Pick another property or open a Draft or In review statement on the destination for the same period.
Statement is being updated by another request: Wait, refresh, and try again.

Valid: Open October statement for Property A. Destination Property B has the same currency, matching payout settings, owners, fees, and an open October statement. Preview shows a recalculated total due to owner. After confirm, the reservation appears on Property B's statement. The listing stays on Property A.
Rejected: The reservation has an active split payout. The move is blocked and both statements stay unchanged.
