As the operational tool for your short-term rental, it's important that we can reach you with notifications about things happening on your account or with your bookings.

Some notifications can be toggled on or off, while others are deemed too important to be dismissed.

Account email notifications are only sent to the primary host, registered for the Hospitable account!

Optional email notifications

The following are notifications which can be enabled disabled from your account.

Receive email notification when a message is sent

This is a notification that lets you know when the Hospitable messaging automation has sent a message to a guest on your behalf.

Receive notification emails when guest ID verification is required

This notification lets you know that a guest who has requested to book with you has yet to complete the full verification of their ID.

Enable daily digest email

The daily digest includes a summary of check-in's and check-out's for today, tomorrow and the rest of the week.

To set these email notifications:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Under Preferences, click on Notifications

  3. From there, you can easily enable or disable some or all email notifications.

  4. Save changes

Marketing emails

Marketing emails are sent out to hosts for specific updates and events, such as meet-and-greets in certain parts of the world. We also send out notifications for our bi-weekly Town Halls.

If you wish to stop receiving these, please contact customer support.

Other email notifications

All other email notifications are enabled by default and considered too integral to your operations to be skipped or disabled.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • "Reservation sync failed"

  • "Channel disconnected"

  • "Missing Airbnb listing admin"

If you have questions about a specific email, which has not been mentioned in this article, then please contact support for further assistance.
