What are amenities?
Amenities tell your guests what your property has to offer, and allow them to search and filter for the things most important to them when booking, such as WiFi, parking, a pool, and so much more.
How do I set amenities?
Your property's amenities can be found under:
Hospitable > Properties
Select your property.
Go to the "Details" page in the left-hand side menu.
Go to "Amenities".
Click "Add amenity".
Selecting amenities when creating a property
Amenities by booking platform
Some amenities are available only on specific booking channels, and not others.
We make this obvious to you by showing the logo of the booking platform that the amenity you are looking at is available for.
Booking platforms that offer amenities:
Airbnb
Booking.com
Vrbo
Direct
We will only show available amenities and which booking platforms they are available for on the amenities page.
Example: A property features both an Airbnb listing and a Booking.com listing. We will only show amenities which are available to those two platforms.
Under Accessibility Features, "Disabled parking" is available for both platforms, meaning both platform logos are shown. However, "Path to entrance lit at night" is only available on Airbnb; therefore, we only show the Airbnb logo:
We do not show the Vrbo logo in this case because the property does not contain a Vrbo listing.
How to select amenities
You can select whatever amenities your property has, from the comprehensive list that we provide.
You can scroll down the list and select the ones you have, filter the list by specific categories and/or booking platform, or you can search for the exact amenity you want to add.
To start adding amenities, click the Add amenity button and filter, search or start scrolling.
Searching amenities
To search for the amenity you want to add, go to:
Hospitable > Properties
Select your property.
Go to the "Details" page in the left-hand side menu.
Go to "Amenities".
Click "Add amenity".
A tab will open up on the right-hand side. At the top of that tab, you will find a search box.
Click into the search box and start typing out the amenity you are looking for.
Filtering amenities
You can filter the list of amenities to show you available amenities by category (Bathroom, Accessibility Features, Services, etc) and/or booking platform.
If you filter by "Bathroom" and "Airbnb", for example, you will see all of the bathroom amenities that are available for Airbnb listings.
How to remove an amenity
You can easily remove an amenity if your property description changes, or if you selected an amenity by mistake.
To remove an amenity, go to:
Hospitable > Properties
Select your property.
Go to the "Details" page in the left-hand side menu.
Go to "Amenities".
Click on the trash bin icon next to the amenity you want to remove.
