How to create an Airbnb listing from an existing property in Hospitable

If you already manage a property in Hospitable, you may be able to create a brand-new Airbnb listing directly from that property, on Hospitable.

Creating an Airbnb listing in Hospitable is quick, guided, and AI-powered — helping you get your listing ready to go live in just a few minutes.

This guide walks you through the eligibility requirements and the steps to create your Airbnb listing.

Before You Start: Eligibility Requirements

To create an Airbnb listing from an existing property, all of the following conditions must be met:

  1. Your Hospitable account must be connected to an Airbnb channel.
    You must have at least one Airbnb channel connected in the Hospitable > Connected accounts page.

  2. You must have received at least 3 reviews on Airbnb or Booking.com.
    Listings connected to your Hospitable account must have received at least 3 reviews, total. Each review must be 4 stars or higher.

  3. The property you are creating the Airbnb listing for must have been created directly in Hospitable.
    The property must have been created using Hospitable’s property creation flow (not imported from Airbnb). See more about how to create a property here.

  4. The property must have an address set.
    The full property address must be added in Hospitable.

  5. The property must not be muted.
    Muted properties are not eligible for listing creation.

  6. The property cannot already have an Airbnb listing.
    The property must not be linked to any existing Airbnb listings.

  7. The property must have amenities set up.
    Amenities must be configured before you can proceed.

If any of these requirements are not met, you won’t be able to start the Airbnb listing creation process.

Step-by-Step: Create an Airbnb Listing from an Existing Property

Assuming all the eligibility criteria above are met, you can start creating your Airbnb listing.

To do this:

  1. Go to Hospitable > Properties

  2. Select the property you want to create the Airbnb listing on

  3. You will see a banner saying "List on Airbnb". Press Continue to get started

  4. Select the Airbnb account that you want to create the listing on.
    Keep in mind that the Airbnb account/host you choose will be the listing admin for this new listing.

    1. Press Continue when done.

  5. Select your Cancellation policy.

    1. Press Continue when done.

  6. Do you want to enable a "New listing promotion?

    1. If you want to offer a 20% discount for the first three bookings, to encourage bookings on your new listing, then tick the box for the "New listing promotion".

    2. Press Continue when done.

  7. Select whether you want to set your listing live now or later.

    1. If you want to review listing, property, and/or calendar details before going live, press "Go live later".

And you're done! 🎉

Assuming the property has all of the necessary details set and configured, you are ready to publish your new Airbnb listing.

Setting up co-hosts

If you want to have co-hosts on your new Airbnb listing, then you need to set that up on Airbnb.

You cannot set a co-host on Hospitable during the creation process.

You should not attempt to create another Airbnb listing for the same property on a co-host account. This will not set that account up as a co-host on Airbnb!

The only way to set a co-host on your listing is on Airbnb.

Troubleshooting & Common Issues

If you don’t see the option to create an Airbnb listing, check the following:

  • You have at least 3 reviews with 4+ stars throughout all your accounts/listings.

  • The property address and amenities are fully set up.

  • The property is not muted.

  • The property was created in Hospitable, not imported.
