The Owner's Portal can display guest reviews so your owners see what guests are saying about their properties. This gives owners transparency into how their property is performing and helps build trust in your management. You control whether reviews are visible — at the business level, and per individual owner if needed.
This article explains how to turn guest reviews on or off in the Owner's Portal, what owners will see, and which limitations apply.
Turn guest reviews on or off for all owners
Guest reviews are controlled by a single business-level permission. When the permission is on, every owner with an Owner's Portal sees reviews for their properties. When it's off, no owner sees reviews.
In Hospitable, go to Operations → Your business.
Select the business you want to update.
Open the Owner portal tab.
In the Portal permissions section, check Show reviews to enable guest reviews (or uncheck it to disable them).
Newly created Owner Portals have Show reviews enabled by default. Owner Portals in use before June 12, 2026 are disabled by default.
Override the permission for a specific owner
If you want most owners to see reviews but need to hide them from one owner (or vice versa), you can override the business-level setting on an individual owner.
Go to Owners tab and select the 3-dot menu next to the owner whose permission you want to override.
Set Guest reviews to On or Off for that owner.
The override applies only to that owner. Other owners continue to follow the business-level setting.
What owners see when guest reviews are enabled
When Show reviews is on, owners with portal access see:
A Review spotlight on the Owner Portal dashboard.
A way to view more reviews, with full transparency: each one shows the public review, any private feedback the guest left, and any public reply you posted.
Owners only see reviews for reservations that happened after their Owner Portal's start date. Reviews tied to earlier reservations are not shown.

FAQs
Are owners notified when reviews are posted?
No. There are no owner notifications associated with reviews shown in the portal.
Can I hide bad reviews?
No. Enabling Guest Reviews in the Owner's Portal will spotlight a great review, and allow the owner to view all reviews regardless of it's rating.
Can the owner see private feedback?
Yes. Enabling Guest Reviews gives the owner visibility into the public review, private feedback and public reply.
