The Notifications tab lets you control several types of Hospitable notifications. Some settings apply to the account owner, while others are configured separately for each user.
Go to Settings → Preferences → Notifications to manage them.
The Notifications tab in Hospitable Preferences showing toggles for message notifications, guest ID verification emails, Daily Digest, and Opportunity Center push notifications
Notifications before automated guest messages are sent
Turn on Receive email notifications when a message is sent to receive notifications for qualifying scheduled guest automation.
Despite the label, this does not apply to every message sent from the Inbox.
It applies to automated guest messages that are approaching their scheduled send time under applicable Events or Reservations automation. Hospitable uses this for the short-notice notification window before the message is sent.
This setting does not control notifications for every Inbox message. It also does not control scheduled team messages.
Certain system-generated reservation messages, including supported smart-lock code communication and some guest portal check-in task messages, are excluded.
This is an account-owner setting. A team admin can also update it for the owner.
Guest ID verification emails
Turn on Receive notification emails when guest ID verification is required to receive an email when Hospitable identifies a pending reservation where the guest still needs to complete ID verification.
The notification includes relevant guest and reservation details.
This is an account-owner setting. A team admin can also update it for the owner.
Daily Digest
Turn on Enable daily digest email to receive a summary of upcoming check-ins and check-outs.
The Daily Digest is configured separately for each user.
Daily Digest emails are scheduled for 8:00 AM in the recipient’s configured time zone.
Owners and eligible secondary users who enable the setting receive their own digest.
Opportunity Center push notifications
Turn on Receive Opportunity Center push notifications to receive eligible Opportunity Center notifications on your mobile device.
This setting is configured separately for each user and is enabled by default unless the user turns it off.
To receive a push notification:
Opportunity Center push notifications must be available for the account
The opportunity must be eligible and not dismissed
The user must have a registered iOS or Android device for Hospitable notifications
The user must not have disabled Opportunity Center push notifications
Hospitable may also limit repeated notifications for the same opportunity.
Turning this setting on does not guarantee a push for every Opportunity Center item. Eligibility and notification limits also apply.
